The 8th International Workshop on Signal Design and its Applications in Communications (IWSDA'17) will be held from September 24 to 28, 2017 at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan.

NOTICE:
CFP of IEICE Special Section has been opened.
The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) announces a forthcoming special section on "Signal Design and its Application in Communications" to be published in December 2018 as a special section of the Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences. It is expected that the journal version of a number of high-quality papers presented at IWSDA'17 and will be published in this special section. Authors should submit a paper until December 29, 2017 January 8, 2018 (Extended).

Discrete signal design plays a very important role in widespread applications, such as spread spectrum, code division multiple access, cryptography, channel estimations, synchronization, optimal detections, etc. The topics of this workshop include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Big Data Analysis
  • Coding for Communications and Storage
  • Coding Theory
  • Combinatorial Structures for Code and Sequence Design
  • Communication Theory
